“Each melody arrived unpredictably and so we kept on dancing all the while, until the songs shaped positions of our community. And we loved them for it.”

Choreographer, dancer and songwriter Aoife McAtamney premieres a soulful feast of contemporary dance, music and visual arts. Following standout Fringe performances – a cameo with Justin Vivian Bond in 2015 and the remarkable dance installation series The Fourteenth Visit at the RHA in 2014 – Age of Transition celebrates community and its key role in self-actualisation.

Featuring original songs in collaboration with composer Michael Gallen, choreography by Berlin’s brightest dance troupe Sweetie Sit Down and design by visual artist Kelly Tivnan. Produced by Amy Fox.
