"It happened every time he went on the pop. At first it made him curious. Soon he became afraid. Then he felt alone, like it was only him in the world." Studio Yum Yum create On the Pop, a multidisciplinary exhibition of immersive art pieces that explore confession, vulnerability, but most of all, erections.
The exhibition turns upon a flash fiction story by writer Peter McNamara. It’s the tale of one young man that finds himself inexplicably linked to a white pigeon: every time he gets an erection, the same bird appears. For On the Pop, the artists of Studio Yum Yum have created a series of vibrant and transgressive art works. Mediums range from painting, sculpture, and photography to literary fiction and performance art.
This venue is not wheelchair accessible.
