“Can I be an oracle for your desire? What do you want of this performance? What do you want of me? (mic check) Is this thing on?”

In this candid solo performance, Liz Peterson ushers the audience through dance, poetry, song and standup comedy, performing the portrait of a woman and her demons. Peterson’s performance was a favourite of the 2015 SummerWorks Performance Festival (Toronto).

“Like peering into a fever dream...bizarre, powerful and thought provoking.” **** NOW Magazine (Toronto)

Presented as part of TxD at Tiger Dublin Fringe, with support from SummerWorks Performance Festival and Ireland Park Foundation.

TxD is a new collaboration between Tiger Dublin Fringe and SummerWorks Performance Festival supported by Ireland Park Foundation. Forging connections between contemporary Irish and Canadian theatre makers, the international touring exchange brings Liz Peterson’s Summerworks hit Performance About a Woman to Dublin and Ruairí Donovan and Asaf Aharonson's Fringe sensation GHOSTS to Toronto in 2016. TxD enables artist mobility: introducing international artists to new cities, cultural landscapes and artistic ideas.
