The Latest Moves at Tiger Dublin Fringe including #JOBFAIRY!

17 February 2016

Exciting team news over here at Tiger Dublin Fringe and we wanted you to be kept up to date with our moves and manoeuvres.

Marketing and Development Manager Jane Russell is taking on a new role at Fringe: becoming our Development Liaison. As the lead on everything development from FringeKin to corporate partnerships and sponsorships, Jane will continue to build Fringe's momentum. This new part-time role from April to October works in tandem with the board, Director and Marketing & Development Manager and will play the pivotal part in how Fringe creates and fosters the partnerships that make the festival happen.

It also means #JOBFAIRY! We're calling on Ireland's best and brightest marketing and development professionals to put themselves forward to become our full-time Marketing and Development Manager. This person brings their marketing savvy, smarts and drive to promoting the daring, excellent artists of Fringe, connecting with our audiences and a whole lot more as part of the core Fringe team. More info on this posting can be found here.

That's not all. Aisling O'Brien has successfully lead a pilot programme at FRINGE LAB spotlighting and sharing our artists' hub. We're putting this programme full steam ahead, so as Aisling continues to assist our rocksteady General Manager Amy O'Hanlon with the finances and administration, she's officially become FRINGE LAB Coordinator and is the go to person for Studio 2 hire while coordinating FRINGE LAB Studio 1 workshops, events and bookings with Ruth McGowan. Artists looking to book time, space and access resources in FRINGE LAB Studio 1, the Cell and in FRINGE LAB's suite of activities and workshops should also contact Programme Manager Ruth McGowan as always.

On to programming: joining Ruth and me in the planning and the joys of festival-Tetris is Programming Assistant Bee Sparks who began her internship with us this week. Welcome aboard Bee! On the subject of programming, applications for Show in a Bag are due February 24 and all festival applications are due March 8 - artists get cracking!

We've got a lot going on in Fringe Towers, and it's a thrill to work with such a talented and dedicated team. Be sure to drop by sometime for some coffee, tea and chats at our regular Elevenses, the last Friday of every month. And of course see you September 10-25, 2016 for our jam-packed, full-on, dynamite 22nd edition of Tiger Dublin Fringe!

Over and out,
Kris Nelson
