Fringe Awards recognise, reward and celebrate the hard work and talent on display in the festival each year. In 2016, 645 artists brought their intelligence, heart, vision and drive to projects at the festival. The Awards hope to honour and acknowledge some of the stand-outs. The Fringe Awards exist to recognise, reward and celebrate the hard work and talent on display in the festival each year. They are a small but heartfelt tribute to some of the hundreds of festival makers and doers who bring their intelligence, vision, drive and who seem to be able to draw on a reservoir of bottomless energy and passion to create some of the most exciting and original work any of us see from one end of the year to the next. They light up the city, our minds and our souls.

Each year Tiger Dublin Fringe selects fifteen experts from the performing arts, media, community fields, and other aspects of Irish cultural life and invites them to be our Fringe Award Judges. Their job? Select the nominees and recipients of the prestigious Fringe Awards. These Awards celebrate the stand-outs of each festival and celebrate all that’s Fringe. Some of them are tied to cash or further opportunities for support or presentation with other organisations, and some of them are worth the laurels themselves. Take a look at this year’s stellar panellists lending Fringe their brains, energy and heart!

Judges Shortlist Announced for the 2015 Fringe Awards!

Tiger Dublin Fringe has announced the Judges shortlist for the 2015 Fringe Awards; the winners will be confirmed in a ceremony at 1pm on Sunday, September 20th at the Church on Mary Street.

The Fringe Awards exist to recognise, reward and celebrate the hard work and talent on display in the festival each year. They are a small but heartfelt tribute to some of the hundreds of festival makers and doers who bring their intelligence, vision, drive and who seem to be able to draw on a reservoir of bottomless energy and passion to create some of the most exciting and original work any of us see from one end of the year to the next. They light up the city, our minds and our souls.

The Awards hope to honour their excellence and old-fashioned hard work and acknowledge some of the stand-outs in this year’s festival of 78 shows taking place across 14 days in venues throughout the city. And the shortlist is....
